Obi-Wan Kenobi, now a Jedi Master and a general in the Army of the Republic, is called away to Utapau to locate the Separatist encampment. At the same time, Chancellor Palpatine issues Order 66, directing Clone Troopers to turn on their Jedi generals. Sending a beacon to all surviving Jedi, Obi-Wan instructs them to scatter across the galaxy and remain in hiding. Obi-Wan survives the attempt on his life and escapes, eventually settling on Tatooine. Ages 13 and up.

As General Secura approached the opposing Separatist forces, Chancellor Palpatine activated Order 66, and contacted Aayla's clone officer, Commander Bly, via hologram. The executive command identified the Jedi as traitors to the Republic. Bly loyally carried out the order, raising his blaster rifle against his Jedi general.

One such Jedi Master was Plo Koon, an imposing alien whose face was concealed behind a forked facemask. Plo Koon was present at the first battle site of the Clone Wars, fighting against Geonosians and battle droid forces in the cauldron of the Geonosian execution arena. Koon served valiantly as a general in the war on many battlefronts in the years that followed.

With his shadowy plot fully in motion, Sidious used his wide-spanning communications network to make contact with his loyal clone trooper commanders, and executed Order 66. The clones turned on their Jedi leaders. They opened fire on the unsuspecting Jedi Knights, bringing to an end Clone War engagements on such varied worlds as Cato Neimoidia, Saleucami, Mygeeto, Felucia, Kashyyyk and Utapau.

He assured the people of the Republic that his resolve had not faltered. He had routed out the treachery that had entangled the Republic in the Clone Wars. He would flense the corruption from the bloated bureaucracy that strangled the august government and reform it, as a new, more powerful, more secure institution. That day, before thunderous applause, Palpatine declared himself Emperor.
