When Spider-Man first appeared in the early 1960s, the Spider-Man series broke ground by featuring Peter Parker, a teenage high school student that possessed identifiable traits of "self-obsession with rejection, inadequacy, and loneliness.” Unlike previous teen heroes at the time, Spidey had to learn for himself that "with great power there comes great responsibility."

Early 1984 saw the debut of what was a controversial change for the Wall-Crawler, the now infamous “Black Costume” spinning out of the Secret Wars saga and building the groundwork for one of Marvel’s most lethal villains; Venom.

Darth Nihilus was a Human male who reigned as a Dark Lord of the Sith during the era of strife following the Jedi Civil War.

Before becoming a Sith Lord, he lost everything during the Galactic Republic's war against the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. He survived the activation of the Mass Shadow Generator superweapon during the war's final battle at the planet Malachor V, which surrounded the planet with a destructive spacial phenomenon known as a mass shadow that obliterated almost everything and everyone on and around the planet.

The experience of the shadows made him "hunger" for Force energy, and the affliction began to ravage his body. In his pain he became a wound in the Force and was found by a seeker of such things, the Sith Lord Darth Traya, who told him that she could teach him to feed his hunger. He accepted her offer, becoming Traya's apprentice at the Trayus Academy on Malachor V, and, over time, became one of three concurrent Dark Lords of the Sith.

Darth Maul was little more than a being of pure hatred and evil thanks to his harsh severe training under his master; Darth Sidious. However, he was not totally heartless, granting those he felt worthy of his respect quick and painless deaths.

Unlike many Sith Lords, including his Master, Darth Maul never taunted his opponents, or at least not with words, as he preferred to win a duel through combat prowess alone.

When fighting multiple opponents, Maul extended the second blade of his lightsaber to form a saberstaff thereby doubling his lethality.

Sculpted in 1/6th scale and standing just under 7”. Maul is cast in high quality poly-stone no detail was over looked; from costume details, Sith tattoos and the arduously fashioned double bladed lightsaber in Maul’s hands.
